5 Easy Peasy Ways To Make Yourself Attractive

"All praise and thanks belongs to Allaah. Lord & Creator of all the worlds. May Allaah bestow His peace & mercy upon the Prophet, his family, his companions, and on all of those who follow them in truth until The Last Day" Aameen

As salaamu alaykunna!

Everyone is looking for a quick way to look more attractive - to be more appealing

We spend a lot of time on buying quick fixes to achieve this societal norm of beauty.

Buying everything from age defiant, to wrinkle free flying right out of the pockets! Hey, I love my MAC like the next person but today we aren't going to talk about the superficial stuff - we are talking about the stuff money can't buy ladies!
Here are 5 easy peasy ways to make yourself more attractive.

1. Guard Your Tongue
Oh my! It is not attractive for a woman to be rude and unladylike. Nothing screams unattractive like a woman that has a mouth like a sailor and poor adhab.
Nowadays, we have women, neck rolling, eye rolling, finger waging, and coming off mannish. That's not cute!
Ok ladies let's go back to guarding our tongue.
O mankind fear Allaah and guard your tongues because it is very dangerous. The Prophet warned from (the dangers) of the tongue as he mentioned in the authentic Hadeeth when Muadh asked him about an action that will enter him into the Jannah and will distance him from the fire, then he mentioned to Muadh great actions (to act by) and at the end of this Hadeeth he said:
“Shall I not tell you of the controlling of all that?”
Meaning, about what will (help) in preserving that for you?
He said:”Yes, O Messenger of Allah”, and he took hold of his tongue and said: “Restrain this.”He said: “O Prophet of Allah, will what we say be held against us?” He said: “May your mother be bereaved of you, Muadh! Is there anything that topples people on their faces – or he said on their noses into Hell-fire other than the harvest of their tongues?”
The people are very negligent when it comes to speaking and they think (what they say) just blows away with the wind, but Allaah the most high says:
“And indeed We have created man, and We know what his own self whispers to him. And Weare nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). (50:16)
2. Be cheerful

Stop looking like a sourpuss yeah I typed it! Women are so angry nowadays. Let's smile a little more. Women are attractive when they radiate happiness from the inside out!
Having a cheerful countenance means that your face is radiant and illuminated when you come in contact with other human beings. The opposite of this is to appear with a gloomy face. This is why the Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: Do not think little of any good deed, even if it is encountering your brother with a cheerful face.” [5]
A poet put this understanding into a verse, saying:
“My son, indeed piety can be something so trivial,
as a cheerful face and a soft-spoken tongue.”
So a cheerful face allows happiness to enter into people; it brings out love and amiability; and it causes the heart to expand – both yours and those you encounter.
On the other hand, if you always appear upset, people will run away from you. They will not be happy sitting with you or talking to you. Perhaps you may even be afflicted with psychological problems. You may be suffering from a dangerous disease known as stress. If so, then being happy and having a cheerful face is from the most effective treatments one can use to combat this disease. This is why doctors advise those who are afflicted with this illness to keep away from those things that cause them to be instigated and angered since that will only cause their sickness to grow.
So being happy and having a cheerful face causes this disease to be exterminated. And as a result of these two characteristics, a person will become loved by the people and dear to them.
3. Ilm

A woman who is learned is awesome! Studious upon the religion.
She's a catch and she's attractive! When ilm is sought sincerely for Allaah, she's beautiful.
Knowledge is sought sincerely for Allah, to remove the ignorance from oneself, his/her family and the people. It is sought in order to realize the fear of Allah and to implement and act upon it. It is not sought for the praise of the on-lookers, for status and rank or to turn the heads of the people toward your direction. Indeed revising our intention is an affair of constant importance as some of the salaf would say, “ما عالجت شيئا أشد علي من نيتي” I did not revise/treat/constantly refer back to anything more severe upon me than my intention.

4. & 5. Worship Allaah with Fear, Love & Hope:

Al-Rabī’ b. Sulaymān reports:

Al-Shāfi’ī used to divide the night into three parts: he would write (knowledge) for the first third, pray during the second third and sleep during the last third.

It is reported from Husayn Al-Karābīsī that he said:

I spent the night with Al-Shāfi’ī. He would pray for about a third of the night. I hardly ever saw him recite more than fifty verses (in the prayer), one hundred at most. Whenever he came to a verse about mercy, he would ask Allāh for His Mercy, for himself and for the believers; and whenever he came to a verse about punishment, he would seek Allāh’s refuge from it, and ask salvation for himself and for all the believers. So it is as if both hope and fear were brought together for him.
