Inside My Traveler's Notebook

As salaamu alaikum and welcome to the blog.

I've been away for a minute because I'm just experiencing life and enjoying trying new things at the same time. In consequence, my blog post has come to a big slow down. In shaa Allaah I will be able to get back to posting full time once the summer comes (or sooner I hope).

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

Today I want to share my Traveler's Notebook or TN with all of you. My husband diy one for me and I did a short vid of what it looks like on the inside on my Instagram.

Before you view the vid you are probably wondering: "What is a Traveler's Notebook?"

From my readings: it is a simple leather cover with an elastic band to hold notebooks inside, an elastic band to hold it closed.

Sounds pretty simple right? Well yeah that's what it is.

There are so many styles, colors, leathers, and fabrics that I've seen online available. It was pretty easy and affordable to just diy one. I asked my husband if he could make some time to help me with this project and I think it came out great Ma shaa Allaah!

I won't get so deep with what the TN is all about and how you can best use them because there are so many Youtubers out who have done vids on it and so many websites talking about it.

I adore this journal more than my other ones :) Ma shaa Allaah I just enjoy the freedom of being creative vs. productive lol because my other journals and planners are simply for productivity. With my TN I just do a lot of art and random fun-ness lol.

I carry these five books inside my TN - I did some quotes that are important to me

Inside my TN with all five books inside

I made my own inserts for this TN. I could have did better but you live and you learn and you grow (hopefully).

Here is a flip through of my TN :-).

I don't know what else to put in it at the moment but I got some really awesome ideas on Facebook. What would you put in it if you had one? Or do you have one? How do you like it?
