Today I want to share with you guys seven steps to a positive mental attitude.
I was reading one of my natural medicine books and came across this in the book. First it is awesome that the book shares various ways to better your mental health! It does not only focus on natural medicine for various health problems but shares with readers things they can do to fix their mental and emotional health.
Mental health is so important. If your mental is off then everything is going to be off.The seven steps I wrote about are the following:
1. Become an optimist - focus on the positive even in challenging situations
2. Become Aware of Self-Talk - our self-talk makes an impression on our subconscious mind
3. Ask better questions
4. Employ positive affirmations
5. Set positive goals- achieving goals helps you feel better about yourself
6. Practice positive visualization
7. Laugh long and often
I think that this is one of the main reasons why Mariam Poppins was started. It is a place to share and promote positivity and self-help. It is so easy to get distracted from the main goal and by my taking a break it gave me time to visit other blogs, reflect, redefine, refocus and remember what my goals are in this life. So I hope and pray that you guys will continue to visit the blog and follow me on my journey as I strive to better myself for the pleasure of my Lord and to benefit my family.
