I cannot believe it is almost 2018! I've been running around here getting my planners setup for the new year. I've been using a planner for a year now. I cannot believe it! I started bullet journaling last year and it's been such a awesome experience. I've gotten to meet new people and become more productive in the process. Let's talk about what planners I'm using for 2018.
For 2018 I've decided that I want to go with three planners. I'm in so many planner groups and I've seen women say they have over 4 planners and I use to wonder why? Why would you need to have so many? But I've learned for myself why I need as many as I am having for 2018 and I learned what works for me.
A lot of folks are trying to get their planner setup or are looking to purchase a planner with the hopes that they will become organized and productive. I recommend that you view Youtube and watch other planners to learn about all the several types of planners. It took me a year to learn what system works for me and what planner meets my needs.
For 2018 I am going to be using the discbound planner that my husband has made. I really love it and mentioned that before on several occasions hehe. I'm not going to go into details about my planner setup because I did a video on it but I can share some pics of it!!!
I needed to do all my layouts in advance because I need to have more free time in life to do other things. So I did all my spreads and if you like what you see you can get the same planner here.
I put my word for the year in the beginning of my book - of course when you order just leave me a note as to what your word of the year is and I'll put it in your book. In shaa Allaah.
The other planner that I plan to use is one my Lara Casey from Cultivate What Matters. I'm using powersheets. I wanted to make my own but Al Hamdulillaah I was blessed to win a giveaway and so it saved me time from making a goal setting planner.
This planner is something that is supposed to help you reach and lead you to your cultivated goals. It is really in-depth and makes you think. The Powersheets goes really well with my planner - they are homies!
The Powersheets are about to sell out from what I read on Instagram today, so don't delay if you want to start using them. There are some other goal setting planners that are much more affordable but I do not know if they compare.
The last planner I have in mind but have not made it yet is my religious planner. I have a pdf that I've made that I plan on using once my husband finishes my planner.
I've talked about my Ibaadah Essentials journal here. And you can purchase the same pdf but with different pictures at MP Studio. In my next blog post I'll be sharing my planner accessories and supplies that I'll be using in 2018! I cannot believe it's been a year in the planning world and now I know for sure what supplies works best for me!
No matter what planner you get - just enjoy the process and don't get stressed out about all the choices. Have fun, watch Youtube and join the planner community on Instagram.
