Friends, it’s been a minute , well, not too long, since I only missed one blog post! I hope you’ve been doing well. Today, I finally managed to squeeze in a little time to write here on the blog. First, I just have to say how proud I am of myself for consistently showing up. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve kept going. So yes, go me… go meeeeee! Lately, I’ve been intentionally stepping back from social media. There’s a certain heaviness that comes with being online … the weight of seeing things you don’t want to see, or trying to process information that feels hard to digest. And yet, we’re expected to keep creating art and stay joyful. But I decided to take the wheel 🛞 of my life and show up … not less, but more intentionally. No doom-scrolling. No competition. No comparing. No trying to outsmart the algorithm. Just going back to the old times, when social media was about connecting, learning, and building community, not letting it take over your life. 🫤 These days, I’m focusing on studying. If you didn’t know, I’ve always had a deep love for learning 📚, especially about the Deen. I started bullet journaling back in 2008, and it truly inspired me. But along the way, I faced some discouraging comments that made me pull back.
So here I am …..learning again, with a quieter presence and a purpose. I’m learning to ignore the voices that say: “You’re too old.” “It’s too late.” No. It’s not too late. And I’m not too old. I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
