As salaamu alaikum and hey!!!
April is tomorrow and it's time again for another journaling session!
If you don't remember then my goal is to journal the Qur'aan for the year.
Shaykh Uthaymīn (rahimahullāh):
Everytime a person ponders upon this Magnificent Qurān and is reminded by way of that which is in it [i.e. its commandments, prohibitions, admonitions etc], then indeed he receives blessing in his life, his deeds, his certainty and in all his affairs.
I hope you guys are doing great! I’ve been talking a lot about Qur’aan Journaling and lately it’s been something I’m really falling in love with. For some of you that are new to Qur’aan journaling and wonder: “What is this?” Then I’ll share what Qur’aan Journaling means to me:
Qur’aan Journaling is a where you keep both notes on what you study in the Qur’aan and write down your reflections and plans of action for what you can do in your everyday life.
You illustrate what you are learning and reflect on Allaah’s words.
You can illustrate by doing art, lettering, using stickers or mixed media. It’s up to you. Everyone Qur’aan Journals differently. In shaa Allaah I’ll be talking more about Qur’aan Journaling basics soon 😊
Ok, so now that we have a better understanding about what Qur’aan Journaling is. Let's talk about 3 ways to be consistent at doing this.
Hey, you guys and welcome to Mariam Poppins! With the new month coming that means its time for new Qur’aan Journaling prompts for the month of March! I have been enjoying my Qur’aan Journaling time and I so happy that I decided to embark on this adventure for the year 2018. If you are Qur’aan Journaling then please do let me know how you like and how your own personal journey is going. Everyone does Qur’aan Journaling so don’t feel worried if you aren’t marching to the same beat as everyone else.
