If you haven't heard of a sensory bin then let me break it down for you. A sensory bin is basically in the simplest meaning: a tactile experience contained in a small area. Our small area is usually a bin. I've been using a bin for years and for all of my children.
Hey you guys and welcome to Mariam Poppins! Yesterday I shared a post on Breast Health and if you haven't read then you can click here to read all about it. That post inspired today's post on doing a diy homemade deodorant! Making your own deodorant is super important and beneficial.
There was so many pictures I wanted to take but I couldn't have my husband stop driving every 10 mins to take all the pictures I wanted. Although he was as happy as I was and excited to see all the artwork on the streets. I was able to take two pictures of some awesome work that stood out on my journey yesterday.
I'm using a Fauxdori - Travelers Notebook and it has my Leuchtturm 1917
Me & my big ideas stickers and Washi tape! Have a beautiful week friends! This has been on my mind for awhile and I really wanted to write a post about this topic because it affects all women. Whether you have breast issues or know someone who does - it's time to really take this moment in your life to really care about your girls health and learn important steps you can take to have better breast health.
Howdy everyone!
Can you believe that June is almost out of here? Where is the time going? I'm so surprised that we are entering July. This month (and perhaps for the rest of the year) I'll be using my Leuchtturm 1917. My Leuchtturm will be in a Fauxdori and so I'll be using a Travelers Notebook as well. Today I'm going to share with you guys what layouts I'm using and supplies! I'm really loving the ease I get from doing a digital journal. I've discovered these digi-bujos on Instagram.
I've experimented with these just to see if I can use it over my Webster's Pages Planner. I miss growing my own food! I use to do this but I've gone very distracted and had to stop doing this. But, now I'm ready to start back up! I have to make time for something so important. I've discovered late last year that I have allergies (more so environmental allergies) and then I started to learn that the brain and gut are very much so connected.
I received some happy mail yesterday. Everyone has been posting pictures of using the book and their drawings. I thought this would be a good book to own since I've started drawing and Bullet Journaling.
The book covers 200 step-step flowers, leaves, cacti, succulents, and other items found in nature according to the author of the book. This morning after I finished all my chores I was able to sit down and crack this book open and practice. Hey you guys!
Today I want to share some of the things that I'm doing on my road to self-care. I have a Webster's Pages Planner and I'm using it to keep my notes in and keep track of my self care process. I'm a big promoter of taking care of yourself and I'll be the first one to admit, even though I advocate it, I'm not the best at practicing it for myself. So I'm taking steps now to start keeping my records and writing my goals down. Hey, you guys! Happy Sunday!
Since it's Sunday and everyone is preparing for the new week coming in then this would be such a great time to talk about developing healthy habits for a productive morning! Have you ever wondered how some people can just wake up in the morning with a spring in their step and with some bubbly personality to match? Or have you ever wondered how to get the most from your day? Well, this post is for you friend! Here are some healthy habits for a productive morning! "It's my job to nourish you every day of my life. Every day it's my job to nourish you with healthy food but also with words of encouragement. If ever you are deprived of these things then I have not done my job.
Depriving you of what nourishes your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being is wrong. If it is in my control then I am wrong. Every day that I decide not to fill your cup up then it's another day that hurts the family and pushes us back on the bar of progress. When I don't let you lead then I'm not trusting you with your position. |
