Digital Stamps & Plan With Me: October

Hey everyone and welcome to MP! I hope you guys are doing well and enjoying this awesome fall weather so far. September is pretty much almost gone and it’s time to setup your planner. To me setting up my planner is the fun part and it’s pretty much an awesome productive hobby that I do! Today, I want to share how to use digi stamps to decorate your planner and some info about them. I also want to share my layouts for my bujo for October. Lets get started.
If you aren’t familiar with digi stamps (digital stamps) then here is some background info on them.
Digi stamps or Digital Stamps are black and white digital images that you can download to your computer, resize, use as many times as you want or color it in via your computer, iPad or you can color by hand using markers, watercolor paint, crayons etc.. Digital stamps come in two file types: Jpeg or Png. Image. A JPEG doesn’t give you a transparent background, the background is all white or whatever color the artist decided to use. A Png image has a transparent background and those are the type of images I prefer.

Digital Stamps unlike Rubber Stamps are not a physical stamp. However, just like rubber stamps you can color them in and use the same way you would a regular stamp.
How do you use a digital stamp?
Well you simply print them out (I would use a thick paper so that whatever marker or paint I use it doesn’t bleed through the paper, so card stock or watercolor paper are my favorite ways to print my graphics). Once you print them out all you have to do is cut them and decorate.
You can use them in your Bullet Journal, scrap booking, art journaling or for any planner you own. You can use them in other ways such as on cards, gift tags and on paper crafts.
What do you need to use a digi stamp?
All you need is something to print out your digi stamp and the quality paper you desire to print on.
Once you purchase your digi stamp then it will come to your email as an instant download. No waiting in long lines, no shipping or handling, and the awesome joy of designing your image to fit your needs.
I’ve designed several images that are black and white and  with little color for my bullet journal for the month of October to use.

Here is my October cover page in my Traveler's Notebook Insert. I used my digital stamp of a rabbit wearing a scarf for this pic. It's so appropriate because it's getting cool out and a scarf is gonna be the norm soon! You can get this digital stamp here.

Like normal I did a layout for my October Goals & Notes. I used stickers from Me & My Big Ideas and a digital panda stamp that you can get here.

Brain Dump and October Challenges layout. I kept it simple with decorating because I really like a simple minimalist approach to writing in my bullet journal. For decorating I'm enjoying my digital stamps, scrap booking paper and adding simple hand lettering designs to make my journal stand out.

I managed to miss count and fell short on my "thankful spread" I was only able to squeeze in 25 days out of 31 *mumbles disappointment* but I really like how it came out with the scrap booking paper so I'm not going to redo it. I also have a habit tracker for the month that may also be my mood tracker.

Lastly for now I have a page dedicated to all my guest blog post. I need to keep in order who I'm writing for and what I wrote. So far I've wrote for about 3 months now for other websites but I have no clue what I wrote lol. I'm working on getting things organized!

I added another digital stamp that I've done. It's a coffee cup with the words "Bismillaah - get it girl" I love it and how the scrap booking pages worked with it.

You can get this coffee cup here. I really enjoyed this setup and I have to say it is my favorite bullet journal setup that I've done thus far!
I hope that you guys enjoyed this article and I know I've had several people state how they can't draw or want to design similar layouts. Well if you want to achieve layouts but don't want to draw then really try your hand at digital stamps. I'll be adding more in the shop and they made this bujo process pretty easy and fast for me! I also have the joy of coloring them whatever color I want or leave them black and white. The possibilities are many with digi stamps!
