Almost every year I do a Fajr Challenge. It goes really well and I've gotten so much benefit from it that I actually look forward to doing it. But, after I had child number 6 I fell off doing my challenges. So now I'm ready to get the party started and do this challenge. But this time I'm doing it differently!
Benefits of doing the Fajr Challenge are the following:
The Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) explained in this hadeeth that prayer at its proper time is the the most loved of actions and he (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) put this before righteousness to parents and Jihaad in the path of Allaah. The evidence for this is the use of the particle 'What next'. This particle is used to denote order and this is well known to the people of the arabic language
"The time following Fajr prayer is full of goodness and blessings. At-Tirmidhee narrated upon the authority of Al Ghamdi that the Prophet said: "O Allah bless my Ummah in its early rising!" and whenever he dispatched an expedition or army he sent them early at the beginning of the day. Sakhr was a merchant who always sent his merchandise early in morning thus, becoming wealthy (3). That is why we find the craftsmen and traders are particular about making good use of this time. Those who sleep up to the late morning have denied themselves the blessings of this early hour."
So take the challenge ladies and share with me how it went.
The challenge started today! But since its late notice for all my friends who read the blog, don't be discourage. Just join in now!!!
