Howdy, hola and hey you guys!
I wanted to talk to you all about The Happy Planner Sticker books and all the anxiety going on. I’m not a Happy Planner babe like most people are in the planner community. I’m more so the free-flowing type. I have no loyalties to a brand (except for when it comes to journals – then I have my main apple scrapple lol). Yet, I noticed that in the planner community people have been going through some major anxiety with these HP sticker book releases.

I totally understand! The Happy Planner brand has tons of cutie stuff that I plan on getting in the future. However, people are out here on these planner streets giving Michaels staff the blues! Some people have traveled over an hour just to see if a store has any of the latest books. The prices in the B/S/T (buy, sell, trade) groups have gone wild! With the influencers doing a great job showcasing the HP line, people are pushing hard to keep up.
Keeping up with the Joneses are leaving people broke, stressed, and on these planner streets looking like addicts!
Don’t feel like you must keep up with all the latest sticker books by the Happy Planner or any other sticker shop. It is totally ok to not have everything.

When you see yourself going to every Michaels looking for these sticker books ask yourself these questions:
  1. Is it necessary to buy these sticker books?
  2. Can I shop my stash and just use what I already have?
  3. Is there something else I may need to spend my money on?
  4. Why do I really want this book?
Sometimes we just wanna keep up – and keeping up isn’t cool if you are hurting yourself to do that.
If you are starting to feel the following then maybe you need to take some time to refocus, regroup and realign with your purpose for planning:
  1. You feel inadequate if you don’t have the latest sticker books.
  2. You do not enjoy planning if you can’t buy everything the influencers have.
  3. You feel anxiety and depression.

Planning is supposed to be something that gets you or keeps you productive and fun!
If you aren’t having fun then its time to do a self-check and see what the problem is.
Do the Happy Planner sticker book releases give you anxiety? Why or why not?
