There is no secret that I love homemaking. There is also no secret that I love femininity. These two are my favorite topics! It's about time I shared some of my favorite looks that are practical and beautiful for any homemaker! I'm a mom of 6 children and they are all close together in age. So, I know a thing or two about the need to be flexible. I've read from several women that it is impossible or nonsensical to dress up and attend to the children all day. Before I get started into what looks I find to be awesome for my everyday living, I thought I share some beneficial wisdom that should motivated you. Taken from the book: Attributes of the Righteous Wife She should place a great deal of importance on her looks and on her appearance in front of him every time he is in her presence. She must respect and act upon his orders and requests, and this should be something that she keeps on her mind all of the time. From the things which are very sad is that there are many women who don't have a clue about dressing up and making themselves look pretty unless they want to leave the home to go to a party or a gathering. As for her husband, then when he comes home he finds her wearing shabby clothes, not smelling nice, her hair undone, and other attributes which hinder and cut him off from having any desire for her her." I can go on and on about how important this is but for now I want to share some of my favorite looks! Yaaaayness!!! This dress is pretty and it doesn't hinder you from moving about around the house and handling the kiddos. You can homeschool, cook, clean, and handle the household affairs in this dress. Do you guys have a homemaking uniform? I call it a uniform because I see this as a career and everyday when I come to work I should be dressed. I am a woman who has a husband that loves dresses and so my uniform reflects that. I also love dresses! My favorite thing to own is that. I only own one pair of pants! I've been slowly but surely adding dresses to my collection. If you are thinking that some of these dresses are costly nowadays, I totally get it. I actually get my dresses from my local thrift shop or I sew my own! If you can sew a straight line then you can sew a maxi dress! I love to sew! Your uniform doesn't have to be like mine or anyone else. Your uniform should be something that makes you happy but at the same time considers your husband's feelings. I'm only sharing what works for me :). I notice most women prefer to wear pants and I do not have any arguments I want to present for or against such a decision. I do want to mention this, you can dress up and take care of the home. If you are only putting effort into how you dress when you step outside the door or when you go to social gatherings then what is your priority? What are you trying to gain when you make this decision? What is your objective and who are you trying to please?

This is such a cute post! I'm totally with you, I LOVE being at home and I LOVE dressing up. Sometimes I dress up when it's just me in the house lol! Anyways, love all of these dresses. So flowy and it shows women that you can still be modest in front of your kids and look nice at the same time for your husband!

Assalamu Alaikum. I love the dresses shown here but can never find dresses like this when I shop. Can you list a few stores or online stores that may sell them?

Salaam alaykum sis, I love the attitude you presented here, I never thought about it that way, what a novel way of looking at things, this is my day job, and my salary for it comes in the form of reward from Allah bi'ithni'llah tamale, so of course it follows that my uniform should be on point! I need to give more thought to this in'sha'allah, and see what I can figure out. Baraki'llahu feek x

I think she did! I know she mentioned about the types of fabric a woman should wear! You don't like wearing dresses? I've read now they've got pants that resemble dresses because they are so loose and flows.
