Young man don’t you stop reachin’ believin’ and risin’ There’s enough room for you in this wild universe I wrote this and I wanted to share some thoughts… Reaching isn’t just about stretchin’ your arm toward a star. It’s about daring to imagine life beyond where you stand right now. Though the story features a young boy, the reminder is for everyone. Reaching is hope in motion. Believing isn’t wishful thinking. It’s really choosing faith over fear. It’s the reminder that you say to yourself…., “I can do this,” even when the evidence feels nonexistent. Believing is what allows us to get up after being knocked down, again and again. Risin’ is the response to the weight of living. Life is hard. So when rising there is resilience.
If you’re reading this and you’ve been told you don’t belong… if you’ve been told your dreams are too wild or your voice is too loud … remember this: Don’t you stop. Keep reachin’. Keep believin’. Keep risin’.
