Thanks for visiting the blog and hanging out with me!

I have been posting some pictures of inside my Bullet Journal and normally I don't fill out my layout. I like to keep my personal stuff...well personal. However, I did fill out some of the layout to give everyone some idea as to how it looks when I fill it out. I tried not to be too specific about what my day is like and at the same time I tried not to be so vague that you have no idea what I'm talking about. Here is a peek inside my bujo filled out partially:

Inside my planner I intend on setting up a layout for my 2018 Morning Routine. So far with my master list setup I put some self-care items on there but I need to have my Morning Routine laid out.

What is a Morning Routine?

A morning routine is something you do to start your day off on the good foot!

If you do not have a morning routine then try to take some time in the day and figure one out.  A morning routine is super beneficial because it will by the permission of Allaah will make you a  happier, positive, and productive In shaa Allaah.

A morning routine idea to use is this:

Prayer/Reflection
Affirmations & Gratitude
Qur'aan Journaling
Exercise & Shower
Read
Journal
Art

You can simply input the times in the morning after your prayer how you want to do these things. Let me explain these ideas to you guys.

Prayer/Reflection - After praying Fajr you should spend some time reflecting on the words of Allaah. By silently reading/reciting and then writing down those things that have stood out to you and what you have learned and how you can apply what you learned.

Affirmations & Gratitude - This is the section where you can write positive things about yourself or write positive quotes to motivate you towards your hopes, dreams, and goals. After you write your affirmations you can go into a "Thank You Allaah" section. This is where you will list at least 3 things that you are thankful to Allaah for. What a great way to remember Allaah and count your blessings.

Qur'aan Journaling- I started a challenge for myself to journal the Qur'aan for the whole year. So this is something I want to do in the morning. You can read about my thoughts on Qur'aan Journaling here.

Exercise & Shower- This is pretty self-explanatory!

Read- Set some time up to read something. You have to feed your brain! It is also a part of having good mental health!

Journal- Gotta get all those thoughts floating around out of my head so that I can be productive.

Art- Color, design, and paint! It is totally fun to do and relaxing!

These are just some ideas to get you started on your morning routine journey. This life is short. Take advantage of what it has to offer. Make time instead of complaining you do not have the time for any of the things mentioned above. Live! I mean really ...live! Say Bismillaah and start your day right after the Fajr (the morning prayer) and go for it!

If you struggle and fall, don't worry. Get up and try again. Do you have a morning routine? I would love to read about it so comment below!

One of the things that I do to kick start my day is take my dog out for a walk. This has been my morning routine since I received my dog as a present from my Dad. It’s been two years and we haven’t missed a single day without taking a walk. I’m glad that I always make it a point to accomplish this task every morning because it makes me and Sab (my dog) refreshed and active. We’re always ready to face the day!

Getting outside in the fresh air always helps with my morning routine as well. When its gardening season, I like to advantage of that and do some quick chores in the garden. If not, then a leisurely walk around the block helps. On snowy days, I pep talk myself through it...I remind myself to stay focused. and What ever is for Allah will remain. Im still pondering on how you do it at all? What is your routine like. I start after fajr as well but in the shorter days I can hardly get it in beore school ( 9 am). I have found that i need to be up at, at least 4 am to manage. Do you find the same?
