Hey, you guys and welcome to Mariam Poppins! With the new month coming that means its time for new Qur’aan Journaling prompts for the month of March! I have been enjoying my Qur’aan Journaling time and I so happy that I decided to embark on this adventure for the year 2018. If you are Qur’aan Journaling then please do let me know how you like and how your own personal journey is going. Everyone does Qur’aan Journaling so don’t feel worried if you aren’t marching to the same beat as everyone else.
You must make your own intentions and figure out what works best for you. I learned that doing the Tafsir is not easy for me to do and didn’t work out for me at the end on what my goal was. So, in February I focused back on my original plan which was to journal the Qur’aan, read it and get to know Allaah by His Words.
I’ve talked about Qur’aan Journaling some time back last year and you can watch the videos on Youtube.
Today I want to share my top Qur’aan Journaling supplies that I use on a regular!!!! These are my go to tools for doing my Qur’aan layouts.

Since I’ve been Bullet Journaling for a year now – I realized that there are some things that just work for me. Let’s get started:
Journal: I love any journal that my husband makes. He uses the right kind of paper and makes the journal the way I want it, which is awesome. When he can’t make my journal because of household / life responsibilities then my go to is the Stalogy 365. I just got this journal last Friday and I really do enjoy it. I enjoy it way more than the Leuchtturm. The papers are soft and thin and it’s not my typical dot grid paper that I’ve used for a year. It’s graph paper and its barely noticeable because they made the graph so light. This will be my first time using this journal for the month of March.
Micron Pens:
I enjoy Micron Pens 005, 01, 02, 08 and brush pen. They do well when I’m inking drawings or just writing in my journal. Quality pens that I’ve had for over 5 months now. As you can see they have some wear on them but they hold up something awesome!
Watercolor & Acrylic Paint:
I don’t have a brand that I can recommend but I enjoy using both types of paint when I’m journaling. I really enjoy how vibrant acrylic paint is. And at the same time, I love how unpredictable watercolor paint can be.
Crayola Super Tips
These are super affordable, and they come in so many colors. I bought them last year and they still are holding on. Went to my local Wal-mart and my husband treated me to them. They are worth every penny.
Lettering Tools:
Tombow dual brush pens And Tombow Fudenosuke hard and soft tip Micron brush pen. I ordered all these tools from off of Amazon. Tombow Dual Brush Pens are a tad bit pricey and I wouldn't buy them again...simply because I rarely use them. I think Crayola Supertips kinda take their place for coloring purposes - because I don't really do lettering with them. I did get them for lettering though. I also love the brush tip - it makes coloring easy when I'm using stencils. My favorite brush pens are the Pentel (not pictured) and Tombow Fudenosuke. Plus I think saying "Fudenosuke" sounds so cool!
Pencils:
Faber Castel artist pencils I can't say these are the best because I'm not knowledgeable like that but these pencils work for me. I bought their whole artist pencil set off of Amazon. I went with Faber Castel because they are known for their quality products.
Eraser:
Steadler eraser And basic ruler. These are all the things I use consistently along with stickers from our family shop. What are some of your favorite supplies?
