Hey you guys!
Welcome to Mariam Poppins! My name is Ameenah and I'm happy to have you here. September is here (can you believe it?) and it's another opportunity to setup my bullet journal and get myself organized for the month. So plan with me! (The following post may have affiliate links. In plain English, this means that I may receive a small commission (at no cost to you) if you subscribe or purchase something through the links provided. You will never see me post a link to a product or service that I haven’t used myself and love!)
The journal I'm using is aLeuchtturm 1917 dot grid.
I actually had this journal not even halfway filled up and barely used! I didn't even know until I was cleaning my craft area and was going through my journals.
The first thing is my cover page for the month. It is super simple.
A sticker, washi tape and some hand lettering for this cover.
My schedule has been getting a little too intense so I did a calendar. I've been forgetting things like when to take the trash out and I've been too spontaneous when it comes to the blog. So this month I did a calendar.
I usually don't need it but I see a need for it at the moment.
The stickers I'm using come from Me & My Big Ideas. I'm currently running out of them so I plan on getting another sticker value pack. Hopefully, I will get another pack soon :).
I used my Micron Pen 02 for all my inking and super thin Washi tape that I simply adore.
I made a September Goal and to buy list. As I learn more about watercolor, bullet journaling and art in general then I find myself trying to remember what products I want to try out. So this month I added a small section in my spreads to keep up with all my goodies that I want to purchase.
I did a simple September tracker that is going to track my mood as well.
The homeschool lesson spread is the newest edition in my bujo. School officially starts the 6th. My goal is to be more organized then I was last year. I'm going to start doing some of these subjects as themes or units and then I'll write what I want to cover each week.
This layout is going to be all the ways I taught the lessons - whether that's worksheets, computer games, documentaries or hands on experiments. I'll be writing what I did each week for that subject.
Because I'm writing for more than one blog - yaaay! My year of yes y'all :) - I need a blog brain dump.
This helps me to get all the article ideas out my head and organize them in another spread. When you are writing your own blog and for two other blogs, you have to make sure the material isn't the same and the pictures aren't the same. It can be a little stressful but I'm so thankful for the opportunity to write for others. I left a couple of pages blank just in case I had more spreads that I want to make for September. Hopefully you guys will hang out with me as I go through my Bullet Journal for the month on Youtube. It was hard to do the Fajr Challenge and show my bujo. So this time around each day I'll be sharing how I'm doing in my bujo and planning my day with you guys. Here's vid 1 :)
