As salaamu alaikum and salutations friends!
Welcome to Mariam Poppins! I am so excited to be teaching my fifth class under my beginners creative course guide. This fifth class is all about character development: working with faceless images. I transition to faceless images from working with images with facial features many moneys ago. However, when I open my studio it was then that I had to learn how to develop character that people would want to use in their planners, journals or use for their own business. It took a lot of studying - in fact I am still studying about developing my characters more and more each day. If you're feeling inspired to work with characters that have no facial features and getting them to pop then this class is for you.

So umm maybe you are like me and got on the hobonichi weeks train kinda late! I was being flooded with so many hobo pics that I was very curious to see what a hobonichi is like. Fortunately, they have a hobonichi that starts in April but I did notice that it actually started with March? What's a girl to do with those blank pages?
As salaamu alaikum and howdy friends!
I am excited to announce my fourth class under my line of beginners creative classes. I enjoy sharing my ideas, tips, thoughts and creative projects that are Islaamically beneficial with everyone. Ramadan is closely approaching and I really wanted to do another online class that is creative and beneficial for the blessed month. Howdy, hola and hey you guys!
I wanted to talk to you all about The Happy Planner Sticker books and all the anxiety going on. I’m not a Happy Planner babe like most people are in the planner community. I’m more so the free-flowing type. I have no loyalties to a brand (except for when it comes to journals – then I have my main apple scrapple lol). Yet, I noticed that in the planner community people have been going through some major anxiety with these HP sticker book releases. Its been a while! I'm happy that I had some time to sit down and write a blog post.
I've been drawing since 2016 when I started Bullet Journaling. I was doing doodles and then I started to do more things and now here I am in 2018 doing illustrations for the shop and various businesses.... Time has change! And I wanna talk about what I know for sure when it comes to this art journey.. Trigger Warning: anxiety, panic attacks I remember the first time I had a panic attack.
Do you remember your first time? I didn't know what was going on and it really did scare me. Its been years since that first time. I was really quiet about having anxiety. It has been something that affects my relationships and at times it has been this monster that follows me every day.
Yaaay I am super excited to announce another class here at MP. We are going into some beginners digital art.
If you want to know how I personally turn my sketches into digital art then keep reading! Lately I've been really into buying stamps. I like the fact that they speed up the journaling, scrapbooking, and planning process. But sometimes I don't feel like finding them, putting them on the acrylic block or stamping press, inking them, stamping and then cleaning it all up to do again later.
I specifically don't feel like it when it comes to simple doodles. As of recently I just started drawing my doodles instead of using my stamps. If you're looking to save money (maybe your saving up a particular journal or stamp that's more detailed) then you can draw these simple doodles. Eid Mubarak to all my homies celebrating all over the world!
Sharing this free printable for you and your kiddos to color and enjoy. Go to the download section or click here to get your sheep love! I hope everyone's doing awesome. Let's chat shall we!
Women have so much going on. Some of us are raising multiple children, attending school, homeschooling, working 9 to 5s and so much more. We are moving fast and doing so much! But you may wanna slow up just a tad and ask yourself these 10 questions: I am so happy to have you here! Thanks for visiting the blog and hanging out with me. Today I want to talk about "Crafting While Muslim" This summer has been such a great experience for me. I've learned a lot and I'm going to share some pics of my adventures and some of my thoughts.
As salaamu alaikum friends!!!
Today I want to share my scrapbooking layout on developing a love for Allaah. I decided I wanted to do Eemaan (faith) based scrapbooking along with my Qur'aan Journaling. This is such a awesome way to add other subjects of interest for me to study.
As salaamu alaikum homies!
Welcome to Mariam Poppins!!! I am so excited to have you here. I hope your day/night is going awesome! I'm super excited to announce the next class that I'll be teaching right here on MP! I'm going to be teaching Eemaan based scrapbooking! Yes! You read that right! What is this exactly about? As salaamu alaikum and hey you guys!!! Welcome to Mariam Poppins :)
I am so happy to have you here on the blog! I recently post on social media that I am starting to memorize the 99 names of Allaah. I recently made me some flash cards to get started. i'm going to share how I made the flash cards and what resources I plan on using to help me memorize. As salaamu alaikum and howdy new and old friends! Welcome to Mariam Poppins!!! I am so happy to have you here! I've been reading this book called: "Think & Grow Rich. A Black Choice". This is a book by Dr. Dennis Kimbro. I've been listening to podcast a lot and heard him talking on a podcast that I recently found. I enjoyed the podcast so much that I spent the day finding all of his audio on Youtube and binge watching all the vids.
