Using the Pomodoro Method & My Bullet Journal

As you guys know I've been Bullet Journaling for a year now and it's been one of the best things I've done to keep myself focused on completing my task. Bullet Journaling is the only way I schedule and plan my day. But as of recent I've been using another method to keep me on task, recommended by my husband called the Pomodoro Method. What is the Pomodoro Method?
"The methodology is simple: When faced with any large task or series of tasks, break the work down into short, timed intervals (called "Pomodoros") that are spaced out by short breaks. This trains your brain to focus for short periods and helps you stay on top of deadlines or constantly-refilling inboxes. With time it can even help improve your attention span and concentration .Pomodoro is a cyclical system. You work in short sprints , which makes sure you're consistently productive. You also get to take regular breaks that bolster your motivation and keep you creative." (taken from here)

All you need is a timer to get started. After I plan my day in my bullet journal I set my timer for 25 mins.
  1. Choose a task to be accomplished.
  2. Set a timer for 25 minutes
  3. Work on the task until the timer rings
  4. Take a short break (I normally take a 5 minute break or as my husband calls it a time to celebrate and dance around)
  5. Then set the timer again

I've made mention before that I have this thing where I can over focus on a task and neglect all the other ones. In consequence a lot of things get neglected. With the opening of the shop and doing more digital work I really do appreciate using a timer.
When I don't beat the timer then I sometimes move on to the next task (I'm not sure if the traditional Pomodoro method does that) or I reset the timer until I complete my task.
I'm able to get my task done and I haven't been so stressed out about all the things I have to do.
When I don't feel like doing this method I just honestly give myself a pep talk and jump right on in there and do it. I don't try to think about how I feel, whether I'm too tired or I simply just don't feel like it. I just do it. Because in all honesty it has to get down. The children have to be fed, changed, homeschooled and being a wife and running a business doesn't stop. So I do this method along with using my bullet journal and my productivity has gotten better.

Have you guys heard of this method? What do you think of it?
