Illustrated ilm is something that my family and I came up with for all the creative documenting that I've been doing when it comes to my studies in Islaam. What started off from my new found love of Qur'aan Journaling turned into something so much more. I found that I wanted to study all of Islaam in this creative way. Illustrated ilm is a creative way to document your personal study of the Qur'aan and overall Islaamic Studies. As you read the books from the recommend/authentic sources, you record what you read and what you learned along with your thoughts. The goal is to strive to increase in eemaan and ilm. Journaling will help you memorize and reflect on all the things you learned. It has been stated that writing the knowledge (i.e. taking notes) that the companions themselves would write down ahaadeeth that they would hear. Anas ibn Malik al-Ansary would encourage his children upon writing knowledge so he would say to them 'Oh my sons, confine (preserve) knowledge through the book (i.e. writing it down). ~Details~ This is a free group for Illustrated Ilm.
